We have not tested deer repellent brands for efficacy or reliability (nor does Extension recommend/endorse particular brands/products), but you can likely have success using any of the predominant options on the market that use one or more four-smelling and bad-tasting ingredients; most brands use a mix and there is lots of overlap in what they combine for any given product. Putrescent egg solids, hot pepper (capsaicin), garlic, and other ingredients are common. Regardless of which brand you choose, deer can become accustomed to certain blends over time, so you may need to rotate what you're spraying from one brand or blend to another.
