We have these mushrooms growing in our yard in Seal Rock and were wondering about them. We have a dog but he hasn’t bothered them but we were wondering if they might be toxic?

1. What is the insect that laid its eggs on my rainbow Swiss Chard? I discovered these eggs on Nov. 15, on new and old leaves. They are all over the bottom of the leaves in small groupings of 3-20 eggs. 2. What is this tiny green larva, also on my Swiss Chard, not quite 1/2 inch long.

I found some martagon bulbs at a great price. They are in a well-ventilated bag in wood shavings. I have quite a collection so this is tempting! Do you think there is a fair chance that I could keep them over the winter and plant in the spring? What temp would be optimal? Thanks!!

Hello, I started harvesting my mason bee cocoons today (November) and I'm worried that I'm finding pupa. But this seems late, so is this a pupa of a pest like the Houdini fly? Or do I just need to wait a few more months for cocoon? I have stored my tube's in a net bag in an unheated garage since the summer.

Our HOA has been working with our County to identify spaces where we need to plant new trees in our community to manage stormwater runoff and prevent erosion on slopes. Community members have voiced a concern that planting the trees will cause a loss of turf grass due to the tree roots using the resources in the area where they are planted. We are wondering if there are groundcovers we could plant in the areas where the trees are being planted? The trees are redbuds, swamp white oaks, red maples and river birch trees. Thank you!

I have three 20-feet tall Trees of Heaven growing too close to my back porch. They are on public property, behind the black iron fence. (The white railing in the photo is my deck, for reference.) During the summer, their leaf canopies extended onto my porch past the white railing. It's time for them to go! Is it too late in the year to hack and squirt? I've read July through October is the best time due to root transport. What's the best way to deal with this? Thank you!
