Could you please identify this plant?

Due to drought conditions this summer in the Dayton area, I now have considerable thatch build up throughout my lawn (less than 1/2 inch). What do you recommend?

Hello, I moved into a new home (Albertville, MN) last Spring with a well established lawn and well taken care of. There are some bare spots and some places the lawn looks thin though. Mid Sept, I laid down some recommended fertiIizer then waited a week and did some light over-seeding. I also adding topsoil mixed with sand to the bare areas and added a bit more seed to this to start some new growth. Since then, I have been watering twice a day and I am starting to see some new grass growing. My question is, how long into the fall should I continue to water the grass? I was planning to stop at the end of Oct but I don't know if it is okay for the new grass to go dry so early.

I am in Shelby Twp and am looking for someone to prune my 6 fruit trees for fruit production. The local tree companies suggested I call an orchard, as they only prune for ornamental reasons not fruit production. The orchard said they do their own pruning and suggested I contact you. Can you recommend a company in the area that will prune my trees or who I can call? Thank you.

I am interested in converting part of my backyard (currently just grass) into an area with native plants and plants for pollinators. I'd like some guidance on how to best go about this. Thanks for your help.

An arborist told us that our tree has drought injury and injecting the ground with Fortiphite should help get nutrients to the roots of the tree. My question is, is Fortiphite safe for humans and animals. I have pets that roll around in the front yard by the tree. I also garden out there. We stay away from all pesticides to keep safe. I’m not sure if this is safe or not. The tree was bare up the middle all summer. It’s slowly been getting worse over the past three years.

We are trying to find out how to classify and identify this rock that was found. The owner does not remember what area she found it in (she has lived all over the world and believes she found it out outside of the US).

Is it ok to plant spruce trees in the fall-October, here in central Oregon? At what cold temps would you avoid planting? Are there particular species that might fair better than others with fall planting?
